In this armchair the most important innovation is the attempt to lighten the traditional cumbersome shape of the upholstered armchair, both in weight and in visual impact in the room. The use of a ring instead of the traditional capitonné button, to nail down the leather to the body, provides both aeration from the backrest and a surprising visual transparency that makes the traditional heavy and cumbersome armchair look light and airy.
