“We put thirty spokes together and call it a wheel; but it is on the space where there is nothing that the usefullness of the wheel depends.” Lao Tzu. The history of technology passed through the “usefullness of non-existence“: the act of creation materializes the idea through the manipolation of ordinary objects. The exhibition is laid out around an empty space through which runs the virtual axis of a series of wheels which is trasformed into a metaphor for progress.
