In the hot and sunny plain around Bologna, this villa and its garden recall the typological rural building of the emilian area and combines it to the characterics of mid-oriental palaces and gardens. The layout settles on a double pathway that is also axis of simmetry. Lengthwise: entrance, access courtyard, passing-through double-height living room, sleeping area roofed patio. Crosswise: front garden with small basin and lawn parterres, passing-through living room, on the back orchard and kitchen garden.
